No. TDC is not an app!The only tech you will need to participate in TDC is an email address and your phone (number).

It's up to the users to try to make a good enough impression for a receptive user to want to meet with them in person.TDC sets up a date for you either one to one with a potential match or in a group (either 2 men and 2 ladies or 3 men and 3 ladies). All you need to do is show up.

Well, for some people, dating apps do the job just fine so "better than," is subjective. In our opinion however, dating apps have several drawbacks.On many dating sites there are fake profiles, an unequal number of men or women, and ghosting is rife. As a result, the odds of making a connection with someone are stacked against you. Once you do finally connect with a real person who wants to chat with you, then you have to make a good enough impression to entice them to actually meet you in person. If you’re reading this,  chances are you are one of the many countless people who have not had a good experience with dating apps and are looking for alternatives.At TDC, we skip all of the endless swiping left or right, ghosting, fake profiles and expensive lock-in contracts and put you right in front of a potential partner on an actual date in person.

You do not have to provide any other clients you do not want to connect with after a date,  even if they want to connect with you. It does work both ways however,  so other clients you want to connect with do not have to reciprocate.You can provide as little or as much information as you like. You can provide any form of contact information, from email to WhatsApp name. Obviously, the client you want to connect with will not be able to, if you give them nothing at all.Important: TDC is not responsible for the safety and wellbeing of any clients who consent to provide their details to other clients, after their date.

If you do not get matched for a date you will not be offered a date. You may however wish to wait longer to be matched, or receive a full refund.

Traditional dating/match-making services will try to pair you with your ideal match based on a narrow set of criteria that you choose for your ‘ideal partner.’TDC does not rely on a checklist of qualities your ideal partner must have to pair you with them. We arrange dates between groups or couples based on fewer but more essential criteria. Trying to match people solely based on their preferences will almost inevitably reduce the likelihood of them getting a date at all.That is not to say you are paired with people that you will likely have no similarities or chance of connection whatsoever. Rather, our philosophy is that attraction does not increase proportionally with the number of boxes ticked. It certainly helps, but building an emotional connection count even more. That's why we believe it is more important to get you in front of a date even if they may not tick every box, than to wait for your dream match who may not exist or be out of reach.

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee all clients who attend a date will be fortunate enough to connect with other clients’ post-date. We do not pressure any clients to permit us to exchange contact details with anyone. It is up to the client to make the best impression they can at the date to gain the interest of other clients. We can fortunately assist clients to improve their dating skills by referring them to our partner dating coaches.If you are unsuccessful, you can book another date with TDC any time in future.

You can attend as many as you want to. You pay per date according to our fees schedule (see fee schedule).

We will send you a copy of the sharing platters and drinks menu a week prior to your date. Please advise us before your date of any dieting restrictions and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Yes, if you pay for a drinks package. The date venue is licensed and therefore you will be subject to the following,1.     You may only consume alcohol purchased at the venue as either part of the drinks package or separately.2.     You may only consume alcohol you purchase at the venue.3.     Responsible service of alcohol laws apply and therefore if you are unduly intoxicated on the date, you may be refused further service.4.     If it is suspected by the venue staff or TDC that you are over the limit, we will have to arrange alternative transport home.5.     You are welcome to arrange public transport to and from the venue if you think you may go over the limit or ask the TDC host or venue host to arrange it for you.
